Message from the Principal

Dear students and staff, welcome back!
Dear students and staff, welcome back!
Lucia − the bearer of light
Alongside Midsummer, the Lucia celebrations represent one of the foremost cultural traditions in Sweden, with their clear reference to life in the peasant communities of old: darkness and light, cold and warmth.
Dear parents, guardians, students and staff,
As we are approaching the end of this term, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the parents, guardians and students for their outstanding support and presence! We could not do what we do without the mothers, fathers, guardians and the wider family members.
I would also like to thank the staff of IES Eskilstuna for their hard work, dedication and exceptional responsibility; we are responsible, in no small part, for the dreams, aspirations and futures of many young people. Your work is highly demanding but rewarding as well.
I look forward with enthusiasm and excitement to the second term. I wish you all enjoy the holiday break and that our students return to us safely in the new term, refreshed and ready to take best advantage of another term’s learning opportunities and challenges.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Enjoy our Open House short video where parents had the opportunity to closely meet our staff and management!

Order, structure and safety are necessary prerequisites for learning.
Children should learn to command the English language, not just know it, at an early age.
Our conviction is that every child can achieve success irrespective of social background.
