Schack4an results!

January 29th, all our grade 4's competed in the chess tournament Schack4an, in the Eskilstuna Final. We had around 80 students from IES who came to school on this Sunday, very nervous and excited about the competition. And they all wanted to go through to the next final. After 3 thrilling chess rounds we had a result!

The mentors being there are happy to say that 4 of our 6 classes qualified to the next final - The regional final in Nyköping! The students will meet year 4's from different schools, for example Strängnäs, Flen, Katrineholm, Nyköping and more! If they qualify, we will compete in the big Sweden final and meet students from all over the country!  We are very proud of our classes who behaved perfect on this day and did their best to win!
